Everything is drawn by burnt sticks held in the fists of cavemen to whom I relate my vision and give my gentle artistic guidance. I then digitize these works of art using my visionary tracing skills in Photoshop CS2, frame-by-frame using a truly inscrutable timing system of my caveman assistants’ design. For my birthday I want a real animation program, but alas I will have to make do with Cro-magnation until then.

Look into Toon Boom’s Flipbook classic I think? It should be $40 and is pretty decent if you aren’t going pro or just need something to fiddle around in.
