My favorite part of the Total Recall remake was how androgynous these fellas were, due in large part to the shape of the chest plate and the bizarre ambiguity of the groin plate, which really is too ???? to read as one sex or the other. It’s kind of… what’s happening there. Some sort of M like thing with puppy dog ears. Who knows. Anyway, in action and design they read as male, female, both and neither in turn, whereas I feel that most other sci-fi robots try to present a neuter that reads as masculine more often than not. YMMV.

Shame that the bottom half doesn’t have the elegance and flow of the top, and I’m not feeling the exposed wires down there at all but you can’t have everything.
